Basic Policies
Erica offers instruction out of her home studio in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Her rates are negotiated up-front, with a minimum of 30 minutes per week of instruction. Lessons are also offered in 45 and 60 minute increments.
Erica strongly recommends that lessons be year-round, and she offers exciting connections to summer and other group Suzuki activities throughout the year.

Summer lessons will be pay-per-lesson, due at the beginning of each month (June, July, and August).
Suzuki Association of Utah (SAU)
Dues for SAU includes newsletters, a fall cello activity, a winter cello graduation, and opportunities to join in conventions and workshops. There is a Celebration every five years that involves students across the state.
Intermountain Suzuki String Institute (ISSI)
Institute is a great opportunity to take classes from renowned teachers and meet other young musicians. There are masterclasses, group classes, recitals, and social activities. ISSI has been around since 1978 and now has over 750 students enrolling.
Utah Valley String Festival (UVSF)
This festival gives students a positive opportunity to perform for their peers and judges. They receive feedback designed to help encourage them in their playing and earn scholarships to local summer music camps.
Cello Festival of Southern Utah (at Utah Tech in St. George)
This is an exciting day and a half festival for cellists only! There are concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and classes for cellists of all ages and levels.
National Cello Institute (NCI)
Originally started by Rick Mooney, this is a week long camp in Pomona, California with many ties to the Suzuki community. There are Room & Board options for students and teacher observers that really make an inspirational and immersive week of cello.
